Unmounted Clinics

We have an active unmounted lecture and clinic schedule on a wide variety of interesting and entertaining topics concerning horse care and training during the fall/winter months.  See our Calendar page for more information.

Beginners

Andy and Shannon are positive upbeat instructors who are also exceptional at teaching beginners. They know how to make it fun and safe. They can teach you how to groom, tack-up and untack in your first hour lesson until you are capable of doing it yourself!  Once you are proficient in these skills, you’ll spend all your time riding!  Half hour lessons are only available to those who are completely capable of catching, grooming, tacking and being mounted in the ring at your lesson time. All beginners must be in private lessons for safety reasons.  We will provide a helmet for the first lesson, after that, riders will need to provide their own well fitting helmet and hard soled riding shoes.  Riders are encouraged to have their own riding crop and gloves as well.

Online Scheduling Program

We have a very easy to use online program for scheduling lessons with all of our instructors.  Lessons are available every day and each evening until 9pm.  It’s easy to fit lessons in around your busy schedule.  The online system makes it easy to see when your instructor is available…or when you might try one of the others! If you’ve ridden before and are looking to fine tune your skills, we can help!  You must be capable and proficient in grooming, tacking and warming up your horse to have lessons with our Head Instructors.
